A very bizzare looking 360-degree camera was recently spotted in Tokyo by Tokyo Camera Style.
The glass bulb sticking out of the camera, kind of resembles a crystal ball or your Nan’s Kitsch Lamp is the 360-degree lens used in getting quality panorama photography onto the 120 film inside. It defintely stood among the thousands of point-and-shoot camera especially in a city of high end technology. In fact, its kickstarter project has already raised over $100,000 even before it's launching date.
Its woodwork design is simply amazing and very robust, enough to hold the camera together. Although it is sure rare yet unique to combine these elements together, this sick camera gained thousands of supporters already. The image result is not as rare as the 360-degree camera's shape. As seen below, it's more of a spherical panorama than anything else.
However, the owner admittedly said that he didn't make the lens himself but he ensured that thi specific lens is not available for purchase anymore which by the way, indirectly gives 10x more value to this 360-degree camera system.
Now we are left to ownder if we can see photo-future by staring into that lens...
