| Heartwood Creates 3D Interactive Learning and Marketing From Unity Development Platform |

At the I/ITSEC event last Nov 30 in Orlando, FL, Heartwood, country’s leading 3D interactive learning and marketing developer specializing in increasing customer’s brand loyalty, launched the delivery of their newest 3D educational platform based on the famous Unity development platform.
According to Heartwood’s Co-Founder and Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Neil Wadhawan, “The interest in distributed learning using 3D interactive experience is rapidly growing, and Unity is the best platform for building 3D virtual training and learning experience to help our customer increase their brand loyalty. Unity enables us to bring high realism and fidelity to the learning and marketing experience when integrated with Heartwood's tested design and delivery methodologies. He also mentioned that, “With Unity's unique 'Author Once, Deploy Anywhere' capability, we can provide the modern warfighter with operations and maintenance instruction anytime, anywhere and on any device." Their newest interactive learning platform in 3D will be utilized by companies where products are physically built, operated, maintained and marketed like those from the Light & Heavy Equipment, Energy, and Engineering industries. This learning experience that can be deployed anytime and anywhere in any platform (Web, Tablets, PC) will help employees learn company products, handling, processing and operations virtually.
L-3 Communication Holding Inc. tried Heartwood’s 3D interactive learning and marketing application to train their engineers without the risk of injury by using the actual equipment. Pete Alexander, Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning testified that, “The 3D learning experience empowered engineers to build, operate, maintain & market all the activities in a 3D environment anywhere, anytime and was deployed on tablet device. In collaboration with Heartwood, L-3 was able to save training dollars and increased engineer productivity by three times. L-3 collaborated with Heartwood to extend this project to develop configurators to help customers configure their products. This resulted in increase in sales.” He added, “My clients can see all the specifications they need and see every element and angle, which captures the imagination of the user immediately -- as if suddenly they were a soldier.”
