Every day we wake up and turn on the television, the newscaster tells us of a new advancement in technology. It seems that everything from metal industry to media industry has fallen victim to technological advancement. One such example is the launch of 3D television in UK.
Here are few items that you might consider buying with your first 3D television: First and the most important product that you will need to buy with your 3D television is the 3D glasses. The usual price for these glasses start from £150 and goes much higher than this. Keep in mind that the price depends on the company from which you are buying the product. Next in the line is the 3D Blu-ray DVD player and a compatible HDMI cable. Both of these things will at least cost you around £400. But this is the minimum cost and you can easily get something better with a little extra money. As of now, the Blu-ray DVD player is the only entertainment you can enjoy with your TV since there are no 3D TV channels on air. However, BSkyB is planning to launch a 3D television station next year. Although, the technology is fairly new but the customers of BSkyB will be able to enjoy movies and sports once the channel is launched. One downfall of this is that you can only receive and enjoy the 3D TV channel via Sky+ HD box and need to use the 3D-ready set and glasses At present, there is not very high demand of 3D TV and channels and its accessories but there are high chances of success of this new technology. 3D technology has already established itself in the gaming world and the manufacturers of 3D TV are depending a lot on the 3D game lovers for the success of this technology. |
