Almost everyone loves to look at the photographs of good old times. These photographs bring back memories of loved ones. Taking pictures has become extremely easy these days thanks to the digital cameras available in the market. You can take as many photographs as you want and not need to worry about a bad/blurred shot getting printed without your knowledge. When you take a picture from your digital camera you can always review them before sending them for development.

Now let’s say that you took some photographs at the 1st birthday party of your niece/nephew or son/daughter and want to share those great moments with all your friends and family. But what’s this? The images have some problems, some are crooked, while others have red eye and look there are even some that are dark and not very clear.

Here are some tips that can help you in correcting these minor issues with just few simple clicks.

  1. Sometimes you will notice that the pictures that you took by turning your camera sideways will take pictures sideways. You will need to turn them right side up before sending them. This can be easily done by rotating the picture sideways in the image-editing program.
  2. Some times in our rush we are not able to take perfectly aligned pictures. In your image editing program you can easily mend this problem by rotating picture one degree at a time until you obtain the perfect level.
  3. You can use the “crop” tool of your image editing program to crop away unwanted items from your picture like that open drawer in the background that you thought you had managed to avoid taking picture of.
  4. Add some life to the beautiful but dark picture but adding “brightness” to your image.
  5. Most image editors allow you to remove those horrible red-eyes through the “red eye removal” tool.
  6. You can even add comments/text to your photographs by adding a “caption” to them.
