By now we all know that Adobe and Apple had been fighting for some time because Apple has decided to stop using Adobe’s Flash with its iPhone. Apple has given a simple reason for this switch to be that Flash is only supported by Adobe products. Even with all the advancement, it is not a worldwide accepted open web standard like HTML. They have decided to use HTML5 in their iPhones instead!!! Trudy Muller, an Apple spokeswoman, has pointed out that the W3 consortium has also chosen HTML5 as the open Web standard to move forward with.
However, this is not the end of Adobe’s campaign to save Flash. Mike Chambers, Adobe’s principal product manager for the Flash platform, is also posting regular technical blogs in favor of Flash. The main focus of these blogs is Flash’s ability to support the touch and multitouch technologies as well as comparing it to other alternatives to Flash, available in market, in terms of processing power requirement. Despite all the advantages that Flash offers on various platforms, Apple has still refused to offer it a place in iPhone, iPod Touch and now even iPad. On the other hand, Apple is also suffering from its refusal to use Flash with its iPhone. Flash is one of the most widely used software when it comes to creating program due to the ease of usage it offers. It is for this reason that several programmers around the world are showing their support in Flash by cancelling other programming software like C4 Mac programming. The fight between Adobe and Apple is just starting since only last month Kevin Lynch, Adobe’s Chief Technology Officer declared war by saying that they are going to “make the best tools in the world for HTML5.” |

Every internet user has come across a Flash website atleast once and we all agree that they are one of the best websites. Flash programmers put all their creativity in their creation from everything including from video-streaming to creating a sales pitch for new as well as old customers. In response to Apple’s standing about Flash being an Adobe prosperity and not having the ability to be used with other applications, Adobe started a campaign which was published in several newspapers as well as online news sites. "We love creativity. We love innovation. We love apps. We love the Web. We love Flash. We love our 3 million developers. We love healthy competition. We love touch screens. We love our Open Screen Project partners. We love HTML5. We love authoring code only once. We love all devices. We love all platforms," the ad reads. "What we don't love is anybody taking away your freedom to choose what you create, how you create it, and what you experience on the Web."
