HTML5 is the new rage in the world of internet so much so that Apple refused to use Flash because it was not supported by HTML5. At the moment, Apple and HTML5 are working day and night in promoting the latest web standards by launching demos with respect to graphics, typographys, animations and transitions. Although HTML5 is still not fully developed but many of its components are already in place. This is one of the best marketing strategies a developer or a company can adopt. It helps the user in transition from one platform to another. These small introductions also help many companies in tailoring their products according to the new standards. At the moment, HTML5 producers are extremely active with demonstrating the usage of the new standards. They are actively listing the opportunities associated with implementing the new standards in the browsers. The latest demonstration is being offered by Apple who is showing how HTML5 works with all Apple products including all Apple mobile devices and Mac as well as the latest Apple’s Safari web browser version. The web standards easily support HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. Other advantages of HTML5 in Apple products are as follow
Now if you are thinking that these standards are ad-ons then NO they are NOT! The standards are not ad-ons rather as Apple says “They are the web and you can start using them today”. Like anything new HTML5 also have certain limitations which include the fact that not all currently available browsers have the capabilities to support HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. But ofcourse this is bound to change with the introduction of new browsers that will have the capabilities to work alongside with the new standards. Apple is not the only one who is actively advertising HTML5, Microsoft is not far behind them!!! Although the main purpose of Microsoft is to promote their latest Internet explorer 9. There are other websites out there, including html5demos.com, that are showing demos of the latest HTML5 web standard. |
